Concept
子供の頃、家の近所にあった丸い形のモニュメントが今でも記憶に残っており、それを眺めてさまざまな想像を巡らせていたことを覚えている。
その体験から、私も街に溶け込み、親しみのある生き物のような“丸い形”を作りたいと考えるようになった。
学校の行き帰りや散歩の途中でも、ふと視界の端に入り、何かを想像するきっかけになればうれしい。
街の緑地に棲むその存在を、私は「象」と名付けることにした。
I still remember a round monument that stood near my house when I was a child, and I remember gazing at it and letting my imagination run wild.
That experience made me want to create a "round shape" that blends into the city and resembles a familiar living creature.
I would be happy if it suddenly appeared in the corner of your eye on your way to or from school or while out for a walk, and sparked your imagination.
I decided to name this creature that lives in the city's green space "Elephant."
